Leadwell Consultancy: Terms and Conditions & Scope of Service

Welcome to Leadwell Consultancy. By booking a session, accessing our advisory services, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.

1. Nature of Services & Holistic Approach

Leadwell Consultancy provides specialised vocational mentoring, educational consulting, and systemic navigation advisory services. Our work is grounded in a whole-systems, holistic wellbeing framework addressing psychological, social, physical, and vocational dimensions.

Our sessions are designed to assist professionals, educators, and vocational workers in understanding institutional structures, developing self-advocacy strategies, mapping out career pathways, and fostering professional resilience.

2. Explicit Boundaries of Practice 

To ensure absolute clarity and client safety, Leadwell Consultancy operates strictly within defined professional boundaries. By engaging with our services, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that Leadwell Consultancy does not provide, replace, or substitute for:

  • Legal Advice or Representation: The consultant is not a lawyer or legal representative. Nothing discussed in sessions constitutes legal counsel, formal dispute strategy, or litigation advice.

  • Clinical or Therapeutic Services: The consultant is an educational researcher and vocational mentor, not a licensed psychotherapist, clinical counselor, or medical professional. Sessions are not clinical treatment, diagnosis, or psychological counseling.

  • Formal Workplace Mediation: The consultant does not act as an independent mediator, arbitrator, or institutional investigator, and cannot negotiate directly on behalf of the client with third parties or employers.

  • Human Resources (HR) Representation: We operate independently, focusing on personal autonomy and vocational health rather than corporate compliance or internal employer risk management.

3. Data Protection & The Client-Owned Note Model

In strict accordance with EU data protection principles and GDPR data minimisation standards (Article 5(1)(c)):

  • No Consultant Case Notes: Leadwell Consultancy does not create, maintain, or store session notes, case histories, or personal narratives containing sensitive or Special Category Data.

  • Client Record Ownership: Clients are provided with a professional reflective template for their own use. The client is solely responsible for documenting their own insights, action steps, and progress. All notes remain entirely in the possession and control of the client.

  • Administrative Data: We process only essential administrative and financial data (such as names, contact emails, and billing records) required for booking and contractual execution, managed securely under our privacy policy.

4. Scope Limitations, Professional Competence & Signposting Protocol

  • Commitment to Safe Practice: Leadwell Consultancy operates strictly within its professional competence. If a client's needs exceed the scope of vocational mentoring and systems navigation, the consultancy reserves the right to conclude mentoring in that specific area.

  • Duty to Signpost: In such instances, the consultant will provide signposting—equipping the client with information regarding external, accredited professionals, independent advocacy organizations, legal specialists, or clinical support services.

  • Client Autonomy: Signposting is directional guidance only. The decision to access, engage with, or retain any recommended external service rests entirely with the client, who assumes full responsibility for their own choices outside of Leadwell Consultancy's advisory scope.

5. Bookings, Fees, and Cancellations

  • Session Fees: All advisory sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via our secure booking platform.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: We require at least 24 hours notice for any session cancellations or rescheduling requests. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to the full session fee.

6. Client Acknowledgment & Consent

By booking a service or checking the agreement box on our intake/booking form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge that Leadwell Consultancy is an advisory and mentoring service, that you are solely responsible for maintaining your own personal progress notes, and that you understand the operational boundaries regarding legal, clinical, and mediation services.
